Objectives:
- To establish two demonstrative models of bio-gas generation in order to motivate the local rural population to use these method of energy generation. The sites of installation will be
- GCO working model in village Shirin Maafi, tehsil Dipalpur (capacity 3 cubic metres)
- At Moza Kapooran for Bahawalnagar CBO (capacity 10 cubic meters)
- To educate the rural population on environmental issues
- To prevent the cutting of trees for use of wood as fuel
- To promote the sustainable use of natural resources
- To improve the health of rural women through use of bio-gas for cooking purposes and to reduce their domestic labor in collecting fuel wood
