• 1. Plant nursery established as a source of income generation for the women’s organization “Swani Saanjh” at the village Maliwaal near Head Baloki. In this respect all work of land preparation, leveling, planting of seeds, seedlings, technical input etc. was provided by GCO
• 2. Nursery management training workshop was also conducted for training of “Swani Saanjh” members
• Installation of the plant
• Supervision of progress and marketing of saleable plants is also the responsibility of GCO

Funding source: Swiss NGO Federation (SNF) through Shirkatgah

Benefits accrued:

• A source of income generation provided to women of the area
• The successful implementation of this project and its income generation aspect will lead to enhanced interest in the establishment of plant nurseries in this and the surrounding area
• · Establishment of nursery will lead to plantation of trees which will have a positive impact on the environment
